The Soldiers table features Teor (portrayed by the voice actor), the agile character (the talented performer), the fierce warrior (the cast member), Wicander Halovar (the player), and Kattigan (the actor).

The Reason for Division

Given a large ensemble, it was evident from the start that keeping everyone at one table would be impossible.

That’s why, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, connecting the individual narratives before splitting into three separate parties: Soldiers, Planners, and Explorers.

The Nature of the Combat Party

According to the DM, the warrior group is for participants who are drawn to a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven gameplay experience where non-violent answers are rare.

Upon first impression, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander might seem unsuited, but the actions of the third episode make it clear why these particular heroes are best suited for the warrior group.

Why They Must Go

To begin with, the group understands precisely where to go next after a violent first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

Casimir of Thjazi—whose demise started the narrative’s action—used the enemy for his own means, breaking into the hidden lair, assaulting Thimble, and taking all the enchanted items to dispose of.

Casimir then cleared his obligations and fled to a secure base in the remote area, north of the urban center, with Cyd pursuing him.

Personal Motivations

Secondly, each member has a specific drive to depart Dol-Makjar:

  • The rogue, as the close ally and closest confidant, wants revenge.
  • The knowledgeable figure knows the northern area and warns that it is a hostile place.
  • Tyranny and The healer, having defied his family’s wishes to execute Teor and instead rescued him, have no other options.
  • However, their position as key figures in House Halovar could assist the team reach areas they usually can’t.
  • Moreover, The grateful character pledged a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his rescue and will now follow him everywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

Finally, all of them are hunted by the rulers that govern the setting for a multiple motives, making remaining behind no longer safe:

  • The agile adventurer and The character are notorious outlaws.
  • The warrior and The cleric betrayed the influential house and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
  • The target is wanted dead by the family.

This means them few options but to journey toward the remote area in quest for the antagonist.
